My name is Mrs. H (as my students like to call me!) and this is my very first blog post. I am a second grade teacher in Michigan. I taught Kindergarten for three years, this is my first year as a second grade teacher. I am loving it so far.
This week, my students learned all about apples and pumpkins. We worked on a pumpkin investigations where we measured our pumpkins and estimated how many seeds and lines they have. We also worked on "Pumpkin Adjectives" and made some crazy-looking pumpkins :) I baked the pumpkin seeds for my students and they tasted them today in the classroom. The seeds were a big hit!
Today, we made applesauce in the classroom using my Crockpot. The applesauce was delicious and making it was lots of fun!
